The Arts Award is a suite of qualifications designed to support young people (up to age 25) in exploring and developing their creative talents. Offered by Empowering Futures and supported by Arts Council England, the award encourages participants to engage in arts activities, experience arts events, and develop leadership skills. It is suitable for all young people, including those who may find traditional qualifications challenging.

The Arts Award comprises five levels:
1.Discover – Introductory level for ages 5–7.
2.Explore – Entry level for ages 7 and above.
3.Bronze – Level 1 (GCSE equivalent), for ages 11–25.
4.Silver – Level 2 (GCSE equivalent), for ages 14–25.
5.Gold – Level 3 (A-Level equivalent), for ages 16–25, carrying 16 UCAS points.

· Creative Exploration: Engage in a wide range of art forms, from music and dance to visual arts and digital media.
· Personal Development: Build confidence, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
· Leadership Opportunities: Plan and deliver arts projects, gaining valuable leadership experience.
· Career Insights: Explore arts careers and gain practical experience through placements and volunteering.
· Flexible Learning: Complete the award at your own pace, with no set time limits.

Each level involves creating a portfolio to document artistic development and achievements. The awards are regulated and accredited by Ofqual, ensuring they are recognized qualifications, awardsnetwork.org.
As a registered Arts Award Centre, we offer guidance and support to young people pursuing any level of the award. Our trained advisers assist participants in navigating their creative journeys, providing mentorship and resources to help them succeed.
