Young Persons FEEDBACK

This feedback tree was completed at the end of our pilot project. The young people were invited to write down what they had found most important in their experience during their time at the farm.

Young Person One

Towards the end of the programme, the young person reflected on what had mattered most during the 12 weeks.

The themes they identified included:

  • Having someone outside of the family to talk to, particularly a trusted mentor.
  • Opportunities to have small conversations with other young people without pressure.
  • Being outdoors and physically active.
  • Feeling genuinely supported.
  • Feeling part of something.
  • Experiencing a sense of belonging.
  • Meeting new people.
  • Trying new activities.
  • Spending time with the animals.
  • Having fun.

Young PERSON ONE

When reflecting on the programme, the young person identified that they particularly enjoyed:

  • Spending time outdoors and in nature.
  • Caring for and spending time with the animals.
  • Getting out of the house.
  • Having someone to talk to.
  • Feeling supported and understood.
  • Trying new experiences.
  • Beginning to meet new people at their own pace.
  • Feeling part of something and developing a sense of belonging.
